Scenario; It's a gorgeous summer day. It's too nice to go to the gym. When it's this nice, you want to take advantage of being able to get outside. It's hot, but not too hot, to throw on a pair of shorts and a tank top. You grab your favorite running shoes and decide to head down to your favorite running spot, where your goal is to get in a good 5K. Beach, hills, or mountains, it will be just you and the wind. You put your headphones on with your favorite running mix and lock your wallet in your glove compartment. But now you've got your keys and no pockets. You don't want to carry them. You look around. Is there somewhere to hide them? Probably not the best idea. This is a problem runners have faced forever. Finally, there is a solution made especially for runners in mind. Introducing the Run Lock.
The Run Lock was designed by two dedicated runners, Alex Boylan and Burton Roberts. Alex has been running his entire life, which he proudly attributes to helping him win CBS's Emmy Award Winning Series: The Amazing Race 2. Additionally he played for the semi-professional team Compinense in Campina Grande Brazil. After his soccer career ended, Alex kept training while competing in adventure races, mud runs, triathlons and more. Professionally he isa co-found of Around The World Productions, travel host and producer for programs airing on CBS, Travel Channel, National Geographinc Int'l. Lonely Planet, PBS, WGN America, and more.
Burton Roborts has raced more than 40 adventure races, triathlons, and mud runs including: the Eco-Challenge, US Challenge, Balance Bar, Fog Dog, the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon (four times), numerous XTERRA and other sprint and Olympic distance races, Tough Mudder, The Super Spartan Race, and the Warrior Dash among others. He is a CBS host and Brand Ambassador, was seen on CBS's Survivor; Pearl Islands, Bravo's Battle of the Network Reality Stars, and hosted Fox Reality's Camp Reality.
