Make FABRICLIVE 74: Jack Beats Your Go To Mix For Mid Intensity Workouts

FABRICLIVE 74: Jack Beats continues the reputation fabric mixes have for being one of the most quality consistent artist series out  there when it comes to taste-making electronic music. The roots of the series come from the famed fabric nightclub in London. It features DJ sets either recorded live in the club (Fabriclive) or in the studio (Fabric). James Murphy, Diplo, Maya Jane Coles, Cut Copy and Simian Mobile Disco have all been featured previously, so for Jack Beats to make the cut is a pretty big deal.

The duo is composed of UK-based producers Niall Dailly and Ben Geffin, whom together have had a longstanding relationship with fabric through their career.   With Niall holding down a residence in London in Scotland and Ben in London, their stories are the same as any other 90s kid: an insatiable appetite for a melting-pot of music, spearheaded by the early rave scene, ultimately led them both to turntablism.  They used DJ competitions to showcase their skills and fuel bookings. It wasn't long before Dailly and Geffin became Jack Beats, importing their skills on the decks to the area that really launches an artists career- remixing. They brought a hip hop edge in their works- reworking  hits ranging from Beyoncé to Rudimental with their own very unique brand of bouncy bass.

FABRICLIVE 74: Jack Beats gives you a landscape for electronic music in 2014. The mix starts properly with Jack Beats' unique take on a bounce-type sound (not to be confused with Melbourne Bounce) that is crushing in the clubs as of late.  There's a solid energy that will translate well to mid-intensity exercise routine.  And when the mix crescendos at the 49 minute mark with their remix of Rudimental's vocal powerhouse "Free"', you can pretty much guarantee you're going to add twenty-two minutes to you workout as it's just that good.  Think of this as your sixth gear.

You can stream a 30 minute preview of this mix below. However, we highly recommend you purchase the full version on Amazon or iTunes- trust, it's worth it.
